General

Avatars/Signatures
No avatars or signatures consisting of inappropriate content, annoying or flashy colors, swear words will be permitted. Keep it game related. If your avatar or signature is something that we do not deem acceptable you will be asked to change it, failure to change it upon request will result in deletion or alteration by a forum leader.

Usernames
Keep the usernames decent. Do not make any username that has a swear word, racist or would be considered rude and offensive. You will be asked to change the name or the name will be altered by a forum leader.

No blatant advertising
Do not advertise other Marvel and non-Marvel websites. (http://www.Marvel.com is permitted) This includes continuously mentioning said advertisement in threads, abusing the private messaging system with mass mailings, and any other forum. Mentioning other websites is okay to reinforce an idea or to get verification on something, but don't advertise other websites, please.

Multiple Accounts
Users who create multiple accounts to bypass bans or for other unproductive methods may find themselves subject to a temporary or permanent IP ban. Accounts created to bypass another account's ban will also be banned.

Plagiarism
Plagiarizing other peoples work is not tolerated. If no credit is given to the original creator or people that have helped you creating this, it is considered plagiarism. If you are found guilty, you will be permanently banned. Taking guides from other forums without the consent of the creator is also a ban-able offense.

Posting

Flaming
The forum does not tolerate flaming of other members. Flaming means: The use of excessive bad words in general, or directing foul language at other members that are intentionally hostile or insulting. This also includes but are not limited to anything that is abusive, racially or ethically offensive or defamatory in nature.

Spamming
Making excessive posts with little to no content or with repetitive content is considered spamming. Besides annoying members, it does nothing for you.

Posting Offensive Content
No pornography, obscence or indecent images. This rule also applies for signatures and avatars.

Third Party Programs
Do not post/discuss third party programs. Threads that show excessive support for third party programs that alter how the game works will be closed and deleted. Depending on the program, the user may be warned or banned.

Dead Threads
A dead thread is any thread that has not received a post for an extended period of time. We do not approve necro posting (posting in a dead thread) unless the post pertains to the discussion and/or revives it.

Post in the Proper Forums
Do not create off-topic threads anywhere but the Off-Topic forums, and if you have character-specific questions, make a thread asking it in the respective character sections.

Use the search feature
Before creating a thread asking a specific question, check the search results-- your question may have already been answered there, or in other threads for that matter. Look around before creating a new thread asking a question!

Trading (If Applies)

Scams
Any attempt by a member to cheat another member out of items will not be tolerated. Users found guilty of scamming will lose the right to post in the Trading section temporarily. Further offenses will result in a permanent ban.

CD Keys
While there is nothing wrong with helping out other members, we cannot guarantee that things will go well every time. Therefore, any trades for CD Keys with other members or sites is strictly at your own risk.

Dupes/Hacks/Selling Accounts
If you offer to trade or give away dupes and/or hacks, or if you attempt to sell your account for real money, it could lead to an auto temp-ban. Just don't do it – have some respect for the game and the community.

Begging
As common courtesy to other members, please refrain from making threads that beg for items. It is not exactly against the rules so much as a bit of a nuisance for many members of the forum. If you do need free items, please make a thread in the corresponding realm in the trading section.

Rule-Breaking Threads

If you come across a thread that breaks these rules, please do not instigate an argument. If it involves a posting issue, just inform them of the rule and the need to not post about the topic.
